Where do you get your wool?
I would like to make the "Love Blooms" quilt in Quilters newsletter. But I don't know where to purchace wool for making the applique. I've checked some of the usual online fabric places and can't find wool fabric. Our local lqs has some. But the colors seem limited and I don't want a bland quilt. Do you ladies and gents have any suggestions where to look?

Thank you Tartan. I haven't had much luck with the second hand stores either. And I didn't know it needed to be felted. Maybe I am searching for the wrong thing. Should I be searching for felted fabric?

This is where I get mine...yummy. They sell it for rug braiding and hooking, quilting, garments, or just plain wrapping yourself up in and purring.

Here are a few excellent sources:

I love the hand-dyed wools - so much depth added to the appliques.
