i've been buying from fabric.com in marietta georgia for about 15 years now, they have good quality fabrics, regular great sales, customer appreciation discounts and free shipping after $35.

I buy from ConnectingTreads becasuse I like the fabric lines.
I have ordered from Keepsakes Quilting, Marshalls Dry Goods,
Missouri Quilt Company (love their website), Bayside Quilting,
Fat Quarter Shop, Nancy Notions, Quilt in a Day, and many more small online shops that I can't remember. Iv'e never been disappointed in the items, just slow shipping sometimes.

I recently ordered from http://www.patscreative.com I was looking for a particular fabric and they had it--they called to tell me they didn't have as much as I ordered (which was fine), but then we discussed another fabric I was lookin for. They had it and they sent the 5 yards or so to me with my original order with an invoice--I couldn't believe they shipped almost $40 worth of fabric without advancement payment. As soon as I received it, I called and paid them. I will shop with them again! I also recently ordered from Favorite Fabrics (she's on this board) and was really please with the service and fabric.

I also order from thousands of bolts but I also use Bear Paw Co. for specialty fabrics such as planes, army fabric, etc. It's a little more expensive than thousands of bolts but if you're looking for a special fabric it's a good place to start.

I have bought at http://www.fatquartershop.com a number of times.
They are not cheap though, although they do have a clearance section. Kimberly (the owner) is lovely to deal with and all their fabrics are lovely.

I actually just ordered 3 yards of clearance christmas stuff to make a tree skirt.

Here's a link to the sale section:

I've ordered from Blue Bamboo, Cotton Club, Stitchin' Heaven and Seawatch Fabrics (http://www.seawatchfabrics.com/). Seawatch has a great selection of Asian fabrics. Stitchin' Heaven is a LQS in Quitman, TX, and they also have a great BOM program. It's A Stitch in Humble, TX also sells online (http://www.itsastitchonline.com/) and has good quality fabric.

I use Bear Paw quilting a lot too. www.bearpawquilting.com. I love their service. The prices may be a bit higher for somethings, but they have their QQF or quality quilt fabrics for 20% off. I love blenders and use them as backings. They have a huge selection of blenders.

It's cheaper to buy University fabric through them, than here in town. I bought all my army fabric there and was very pleased with the cost and the quality of the fabric.

I've been curious about thousands of bolts and connecting threads though.

I just received an order for 1000 bolts and was pleasantly surprised. I order early in the morning and within a few hours they were cutting and shipping. They did call and tell me they were a bit short on one color but that was ok. I paid less than half then I normally do at my lqs, I will definately order again.
