Are you kidding? Maybe my boyfriend would actually go with me to the fabric store without making his sad-baby-seal face if they had sporting goods. Wish we had one of those.
Sad-baby-seal face - I can just picture it!!

I had shopped at Walmart, but since the condensing it's not the same or worth me traveling 100 miles one way. Believe it or not our local drug, guns, appliances store carries some fabric. WOW right in our town, our town must be growing. I purchase from fabric.com, some ebay. Visit Joann or Hancock when traveling to see kids and grandbabies

Patchwork Pig, Quilters Quarters, Heartfelt, Raindow's End, Hancock Fabrics, Bernina quilt shop, Quilts on Plum Lane, Cotton Patch. Oh maybe thats too many but they are my regular places. I drove to Blue Ridge Georgia once cause I heard there was a nice shop there. Oh yes and one year to Padauch, KY to go to Hancocks.

Online mostly because our local quilt shop does not carry civil war or 1930 reproduction prints any more. Walmart for kids and patriotic.

I am with Patty Patches, we have Paul's Discount who recently upgraded their fabric department -- very impressive now. But, we also have King's Department Store -- very impressive prices ($2.00 to $4.75 a yard). For rulers and mats, I order from JoAnns with coupons. Recently, I have purchased lots of fabric offered by members here. Books come from Amazon or QB members. We also trade among guild members.

The less gas I use for shopping, the more shopping I can do.

Thrift shops, Goodwill and on line. Keep an eye out on the Classifieds on this board. Great people to buy from at great prices.

I shop everywhere...I shop here on the board, at Sulphur Grove Quilt Shop (local store), Joann's, Hobby Lobby, we have a very large thrift store & sometimes I might find fabric there and once or twice I've been at a crafter/quilter's garage sale.
