I usually shop at JoAnns armed with coupons or buy fabrics on sale, our Walmarts are re-stocking the fabric dept. now and I buy there also. We have a new Hobby Lobby and I have been there once. I find the LQS too expensive most of the time.

I have a LQS a couple of blocks from me but they have a tendency to be a bit pricey. I do buy from them but not too much. There is also another LQS about 45 min. away that I go to occasionally. I do most of my shopping in Lancaster as it's only about 1 1/2 hours from me. I typically only buy for projects and can always find something there. Plus I usually do some business out there as well so I can kill a couple of birds with one stone. I'm not much of an online shopper unless I've checked out the exact fabric in person first. I like to feel the fabric and see the actual color before I purchase.

I mostly shop online. Fabric.com, Connection Threads, and Joann's but only when there is a good sale. Fabric prices are going sky high so I only shop sales. I also use discarded clothing, shirts, jeans, etc. My main source is Fabric.com

I am also very limited, but when I go into Myrtle Beach, there are 4 wonderful QS's! When I wander up to NC or over to Florence, there are JoAnn's stores, but I find that I no longer buy quilting fabric there. Instead, I buy my fusible interfacing and fleece because they are cheaper. I try to keep a running list of what I need for when I can FINALLY go shopping - although I have no problem shopping on line when necessary.

I order a lot online. I do have a JoAnns etc. nearby but I can't always find what I,m looking for so I sit with my coffee at the puter and shop.
