    I go xown by the crick. No seriously front loader. The landromats dont always use fresh water, most recycle water( eew diaper water recycled.) Check with the place, alot of them lie. If the place ever smells sewerish..steer clear.

    If it is handquilted I wash it in the bath tub, drain it in a plastic laundry basket,quising it from time to time then place it outside over a group of chairs with the backing up in case of birds and to protect it from the sun. Of course I useually only wash mine in the spring when it's not too cold or too hot. I guess I am old fashioned this way
