    Thanks for sharing the tip, and thanks to who it was that shared the youtube video. I thought I saw a thread about this before discussing the merits of using hairclips or other clips instead, and also thought I saw a few who were not impressed.

    Looking at the video and seeing the remarks, I think I'll get some!

    For binding, I use the coated paper clips. No pin pricks, I can buy a box of 500 for not much $$. But it sounds like a useful tool I might have to ask for christmas. LOL

    I like them especially for holding binding while I hand stitch it. jhittle sewing has them at a pretty good price.

    You guys made me very curious so I searched the web and found them on sale at Fabric Depot for about $20 for 50. It was a good enough price for me so I bought 2 pkgs. Thanks for enabling me.
