I want to go back to Massachusetts! I miss it a lot. The weather is conducive to making quilts. This time of year puts one in the mood to make something warm.

I live 15-20 minutes from 2 Joanns and a few LQS. I love it where I am.

I think Paducah would be ideal. Besides the big show the Quilt Museum offers classes.

I would live back in Indiana, closer to family. There are a lot of quilt shops and big box stores that sell quilt supplies. That would be Allen County or surrounding areas. Northern area since my sons and grands would only be within an hour's travel. I'd have 4 seasons to put up with but think of all those quilts I could cuddle under.

Hamilton, MO - and I would actually consider moving close to that when I retire. I like the area, and it puts me within a day's drive of the kids.

And it may also help me with my dream of my vintage sewing machine museum. Since I've noticed a lot of people with an interest in the old machines also like quilting.

Close to a huge fabric shop with great, cheap fabric would be fabulous! On second thought, though, that's maybe not such a good idea... I'd spend much too much time and money there...

It would be wonderful to live somewhere like that. You'd feel less pressure to buy the place out since you could go anytime you wanted... That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

For me, it would be Paducah, Kentucky.

Although there are MANY quilt shops in the Denver Metro area of Colorado
it is NOT an ideal place to live.

The cost of living has gotten so high (mostly because of the legalized marijuana).
I have seen rent prices go from $750-$950 for a studio or 1-bedroom apartment
up to OVER $1200 per month for the same unit....... these places are NOT the clean
nice apartments that brochures advertise either.

If it wasn't for my husbands job (and mine) I would be BEGGING him to move.
However if HIS boss had her way about things she would have him move to St. Louis, MO
    to work at corp. headquarters.
