Default Where is a reputable place to buy a used sewing machine?

I am looking for a used Janome 6600 or higher. Can you recommend a reputable dealer?

Would have to know where you are at for most of us to give a good recommendation. Without knowing where you live I would say go to Janome's website and look up online/local dealer and pick one. Then look up to see if there are complaints against store, if not you have yourself a dealer. Good luck with your Janome, I love my 6600 :-)

Dealers are also good for open box deals which you can usually find right after holidays when husbands go shopping without asking ...

Go to your LQS and see what they have in the way of used machines. I know my LQS sells classroom machines and trade-in machines. I'd stay away from private sales unless you know the person and know the machine.

A local sew-&-vac store usually has some used machines for sale. They'd want to keep a good reputation so I'd trust them.

I would definitely go to a dealer - I also love my Janome 6600P.
