Where is your workspace?

Some downsize, we upsized..more stairs and work as I get older, but still love the place. Photos added to share. My husband has built this place from a gutted to studs shell, 3 yrs ago it was weeds to the windows, it's come a long way.

I live in a 100-year old house where all the rooms open into each other. I sew in a room between the two most popular rooms in the house...the TV room and the kitchen! But I like being close to both rooms and DH is usually in one or the other of those rooms! He'll be moving his hobby stuff out soon so I can have the whole room for sewing. (He has a whole building to himself, but I'm not jealous, not much anyway.)
I'm trying to use vintage furniture but will soon have some shelves built in and I have a nice-size closet. My machine is on an Ikea desk in a corner and I cut on a vintage table set up on bed risers....but I'm hoping to replace them and make a big investment soon...the table in the pic below. It can function as both sewing and cutting table. I think I'll like the height.

I took over our daughter's room when she graduated from college - in 1986 and it is truly all sewing. It had a bed in it for a while, but we no longer consider it to be a guest room. Too many pins in the carpet.
Last year we did a make over when the college discarded lab benches and glass front cupboards from the Physics lab. Lots of wonderful storage for me, but I am starting to leak out into the hall. Think I need to perform some stash reduction - in other words get busy and sew.

I started out in my eldest sons room when he left home then moved to my youngest sons room when he left as it was bigger. Now my DH has made me my own room 16 x 32 in the second floor of our barn shaped garage. It is great. I have all my machunes, computer, longarm and tables there--my hideaway!

i am very lucky. my husband gave me 2/3 s of the attached garage. my finished area is 20 x 20 feet with 10 ft. celings. he bilt a large area for my fabric. it is 18 ft. long and 10 ft. tall and 4 ft. deep. it is packed full of fabric and have fabric in baxes on the floor. i will never live long enough to use all the fabric.....but.....you see i can not help my self. i must buy fabric and books. i have about 700 quilting books and magazines.
