    just thought i'd let ya'll know i found 23 copies of maggie malone's book at amazon. they range in price from $4.61 (low end of used) to $77.61 (new).

    brackman's encyclopedia is also there. there are 35 copies ranging from $17.99 (used) to [get this] :shock: $179.32 :shock: (new). (there are a few new copies for lots less. don't know what this clown is smokin'! :lol: :lol: :lol: )

    Thanks Patrice!! I've had a crazy 4H week and today is the last day...so, will do some shopp'n in that direction now for sure...prob by tonight!:)LOL Skeat (and, everyone else's too!! I have them penciled down to check into....no one could ever have too many books! Right?!)

    hijacking, sorry - someone on this board told me that she thinks ebay is being sold. has anyone else heard this?

    If it brings in a new ceo w/some common sense, I'd say great! Since supp. this newer one did all the rule changing to people not being able to say they had a bad buyer or seller and all sales going thru paypal only...argh! Thus why I don't buy there anymore! But, haven't heard the rumor otherwise:)

    I doubt that there will ever be an absolutely complete compendium of quilt block patterns.

    I think that's in the same category as having the most up-to-date computer software.

    Someone is always coming up with something new or putting a new twist on something old.
