    I like the black because the colors stand out. With the white background some of the colors just blend in and the 'big statement' is lost.

    I like the black best but if you wanted it to be a summer quilt the white might look good. And then bind it with strips of your colored fabric. Just an idea.

    black makes it stand out more. I love black anyway when it comes to bright and light fabric.
