I forgot to say I bought a bolt? off ebay many years ago and it wasn't very expensive. Maybe 10 yards of it
It isn't eyelet I'd use for heirloom sewing, but perfectly acceptable for binding

couldn't stand it, crawled and slithered around the AC to get this. I'd forgotten I'd used blue eyelet also. 1987

that is so pretty! I love laces and eyelets and stuff. I have quite a bit of eyelet trim and laces that I bought when I was doing custom sewing (30 years ago), and a lot of laces and trims I've been picking up at estate and yard sales for the last several years.

Thanks for ideas! Love the eyelet as a binding, looks really good. She has now thrown in pinwheels. I'm not sure what will be the finished look.

I just flashed on doing a T-Shirt quilt, with the Eyelet touches to help it be feminine. hmmm, I just felt my project list get longer!!! Great question and ideas! Love the 2 color edging with pearl beads stitched on it!
