I like strong colors, and black really makes them POP!

Love the quilts here with strong contrasts, and a strong black sets them off nicely.

ME ME me - I thought maybe I was the only one. When I first started quilting I tried to get some black in every one. Now I only do baby quilts and can't figure out how to involve black.

I love black and it is usually my background fabric. It seems to really make the fabrics and the patterns pop out. Jan

In my humble opinion, you can't miss with black... 'nuff said...

I'm a slob, always have been. My mother would look at clothes and joke that everything I ate would look well on it. So am not big on white clothes or lots of white in quilts either. That leaves darker more vibrant colors. I just bought 5 yards of black. I have always wanted to make a jewel toned quilt using black, maybe this year!

I buy black by the bolt. I make all my DH's shirts..black western style (with black pearl snaps). But he never knows if I 'borrow' some off the bolt to use in my quilts. LOL

I love black and don't think you can ever use it too often!

And to think I just picked up (9) 1 yard pieces of black and white! I think black is the new color.

I LOVE black...It is such a beautiful, classy, contemporary look to an old design!
