    OH , Yes so familar. I bought a sharpener at Joann's also and it does work quite well , but if you are doing quite a few layers at a time you may bend or should say warp the blade then it does not help sharpening the blade. I made , the old fashion pie carriers for a scenic drive last month and they are very thick , it is easy to put to much pressure on the blade and it warps . Needless to say when I came back from Illinois I had to buy more blades. Trish

    Whew!!!!!! What a relief. I thought I was the only one that did this, I'm the world's worst at changing the blades- but when I do, it's like WOW, why did I wait so long?

    I guess I'm like everyone else. I wait until the last possible moment to change my rotary blade. They're expensive and I want to get as much from them as I can. But I usually change it when I start a new project. The cutter just works better.

    Don"t we all put it off till it is an absolute must, then swear we won't do it again just tot do it again and again. My mther used to say it was the Yankee in her.

    I do it over and over. lol Have any of you used a rotary blade sharpener ? If so do they work for you? Thanks
