I will be out on Black Friday, but that is because I will be working. The good part is that I will have an early shift instead of the afternoon one that I have had in the past. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Not me! My Christmas shopping will mostly include getting lots of green $tuff for grandkids. DH and I each buy our own gift as that simply makes life easier.

Happy shopping days to you, though!

I will be working but leaving early and heading straight home! Don't need anything, don't want anything and have too much as it is! Actually, what I prefer is some time in my sewing room!

Nothing could lure me out on BF. After a wonderful family Thanksgiving it is wonderful to just have the day to do as I please. That usually finds me in the studio creating, not fighting the hassle and crowds, so much more relaxing.

No thank you, I worked retail for 26 years, had to come in the early morning hrs. Hated that day most of the years.

Me too! I got caught in a BF crowd by accident one time when I really needed a skein of embroidery thread. Thought I'd never get back home. Told my husband that if I ever even acted like I was going shopping for anything on BF to just knock me in the head with a hammer. I do plan to visit cemetary to place flowers but other than that it's sewing room for me!

My daughter and her friends like to go out to the places that start Black Friday after midnight. They think it is fun to watch people and don't actually try to shop.
Our family draws names from a hat, so you can concentrate on wowing that one person. I have my son this year and am making him a quilt. Oh! And for some reason, he asked for a loofah. So, as a joke, everyone is going to find him the funniest loofah they can and give it to him. So instead of showering with a loofah, he is going to be showered with loofahs. Can't wait to see how he reacts! LOL

Not me. From BF to after New Year, I avoid the malls and most stores, especially on weekends. I will shop at WalMart for most of my needs, because I can go at midnight, when there aren't a lot of customers in the stores. I try to have all my fabrics pre-purchased, since the LQSs are not opened late on weekdays or on Sundays. If I find I need something, I will check with my quilt buddies and shop their stash.
