My daughter and her friends like to go out to the places that start Black Friday after midnight. They think it is fun to watch people and don't actually try to shop.
Our family draws names from a hat, so you can concentrate on wowing that one person. I have my son this year and am making him a quilt. Oh! And for some reason, he asked for a loofah. So, as a joke, everyone is going to find him the funniest loofah they can and give it to him. So instead of showering with a loofah, he is going to be showered with loofahs. Can't wait to see how he reacts! LOL

Only if I find a great deal. I never went until 3 years ago . It was quite a bit of fun and people were very friendly serving hot chocolate and lending a blanket while waiting for the store to open. I don't think I will go this year as there hasn't been anything that I've seen so far that I need or want. Instead have been shopping on line. This may all change once I review the flyers this Sunday! Lol

DH and I usually take a car ride by the malls to see just how busy/empty they are. DD has to be at work at 4:00 am on BF. Her store opens at 8:00 pm on Thanksgiving! Aren't there any holidays anymore?

Yes I am going OUT!!!! When I was younger I went out at 3:30 am. Hot coffee in hand and power bars. But this year I will be in New York seeing the sights. I hope to get to a quilt shop. Don't know what's available but we are living our dreams.

I have previewed the Joann's ad and don't see the Blizzard fleece for $3/yard this year. However, Hancock's will have fleece for $3, so I checked out the supply today. I will be there on Black Friday to get what I can for Project Linus. Last year our Hancock's had only 2 clerks on duty, including at the register. The store wasn't terribly full, but it took forever to process people. They told me today that things would be better this year. I hope so.

By the time I get through cooking the Wednesday night before and Thanksgiving Day, I'm ready for a real rest, which would not include shopping on BF. People just seem to lose their common sense and courtesy on BF! No way! LOL
