I've already posted that there's no way I'm going out on BF. BUT I have to brag, I've spent time online ordering most of my Christmas gifts--just need to get for SIL, BIL and niece and nephew. All should be here by the end of next week. Of course I still have a quilt and a couple of fabric bowls to finish .

It used to be fun to head out at 3:00am to the stores. Bonding with all the other crazy people looking for that special thing advertised. But it's gotten so crazy, people don't care who they run over or elbow out of the way. The last year I did it, the line formed early and at 7:00 a big van pulled up and unloaded a bunch of people and they cut to the front of the line just as the door opened. People were vaulting over carts with children in them just to get to the free power cord...on-line shopping now.

JAF is Joann's Fabrics. It's been several years since I've bothered with shopping on Black Friday. This year though, I'll be hitting Joann's bright and early. I don't know of any Hancocks in our area. I want to pick up at least most of the materials I need to start my wife's quilt. I'm hoping to save enough money to make it worth braving the crowds. I'll also be going to our local Goodwill afterward. There's a Brother sewing machine and some more fabric I want to get if it's still there. I've also started gathering old flannel shirts for a quilt I want to make for myself.
