Default who knows where this fabric is from?

No name on the selvage. The fabric is only 36" wide. Baseball players. photos look almost real. Would anyone know the designer or maker?

If it is 36" selvage to salvage, that would make it very old fabric from before the 70s. I have an actual reproduction from the 30s and that is what it measure width wide.

Is it a vintage fabric? Didn't fabrics used to be 36" wide rather than the 44/45" that we have now?

I agree with cashs mom about it possibly being vintage fabric. Does the design on the fabric have that "pasted on" feel, like the design was added to the fabric?
Where did you find this fabric?

It's not my fabric, it belongs to a friend of mine, I will ask her if it has that pasted feel, but I don't think it does. she did realize that because it's only 36" wide that its older fabric. We were just wondering if anyone would recognize it. Thanks everyone.

The unis and gloves on the players look like pre mid to late 1960s. Could have been made as vintage then and anytime up to the switch to 44/45".

Baseball has all kinds of "occasions" and it could have commemorated just about anything besides just being a print for boys.

I just had to mention that this post sure makes me feel old. I'm not 60 yet, but there was only 36" fabric when i started sewing. Most of it I bought at Sears!!

That is a great piece of fabric. I think the width changed from 36" to 42" about the mid 60's.
