Thank you Carlyn for the kind words and the NYB website. I love looking at all the quilts.
Hello Mr. Manquilter! The concave or "inside curve" is what I usually notch.

Sheree.... I'll need some clarification on that also.

Have a look at this site Old man- New quilter, it might just be what you need to help you.........I can't see that you would need much help anyway...... I love your Mariners Compass, just beautiful! Keep us updated how you go anyway.

Love all the curved PP. I have some of those patterns and would love to do them. All I need is more time. I'm starting to sew clothes for Olivia, new spring clothes for me. Plus I make all Mother's tee shirts and night gowns. She gets upset with me if she had to buy a night gown. I've been using the same pattern for years and I am so tired of it, but she loves it.

I haven't thought about how to place them yet, this is just one of those projects I pick up when I need a break from something else I'm doing.

In the second pic, you will notice blocks only half done, I don't want to decide on the background colours until I work on the placement.

Oh, and can I say I think everyone has done well with their PP, some really nice patterns here.
    Absolutely gorgeous!

Oh, I also am "doing" the Ula Lenz New York Beauty, How neat is that to find someone else doing it too! 'Course, ... I started it a couple of years ago, then got sidetracked by some life issues, that's why I say "doing" - hmmm...
But seeing this on here makes me jazzed to get it out and get going on it again!
    Thanks so much!

Wow if I was that far along would be so hard to put away. Very nice color combos. Post your progress.

I know, and it's a shame it has gone this long neglected. This has been against my nature to have unfinished projects, but I find I have several now. So Onward and Forward!!

TooMuchFabric - I love your arcs! Isn't it a fun quilt to make? You certainly don't get bored or feel the fabrics your working with get monotonous! I can't wait to see it all together! Thanks for sharing your photos.
