Keep me in mind, please. Sounds like fun. Our Guild has a group that does scrappy blocks. An internet one sounds like a lot of fun. What would be the rules?

What if we exchanged 2 1/2 inch strips instead. No pressure to perform by a deadline.

That sounds like fun too, I could do that, I am going to have surgery on my back and will not be able to sew for a while. It is H### getting old and havein autheritice or how ever it is spelled.

Both blocks and strips (and even squares) would work.

SaraSewing: please what is the name of this pattern and where can we get one? Thanks
Here are the instructions. It's basically cut 2 1/2 inch strips of both light and dark.

Then cut them into 2 1/2 inch squares and 4 1/2 inch bars.

Sew a light to a dark, and dark to light, over and over.

Then sew them into units, using both light and dark.

It's super easy, fast and fun.
