I love scrappy quilts, too. I've recently gotten a bunch of string blocks in a raffle. About to start putting them together based on a picture I saw a while back. It has black and white sashing strips with b & W 9patch cornerstones. Will post a picture when done.

I make scrappy quilts, too! I cut leftover pieces into 2 1/2" and 1 1/2' squares and 1' strips. it helps to use up the stash and anything made with scraps always looks great.

I used scraps of both solid and prints in this little quilt which was my first mini. It was sold at auction for my guild fund raiser, but I still count it among my favorite creations. I'll also attach a photo of my "scrappy quilt" that I made for my grandson with his deceased grandfather's shirts, and my Sunbonnet Sue made for a little girl with miscellaneous scraps from me and my quilting neighbor friend. Use your scraps with almost any pattern!!

I do! Lots of them! Good way to clean up my stash and my family loves them. Also started doing a little bit of paper piecing. Not sure how I feel about it yet, tho. I live in Southern Indiana but am from Indy originally. Where are you??
