I saw a brand new one at Goodwill. Almost picked it up...
If I can get rave reviews of it on here, I'll check tomorrow when I'm there to see if it is still available.

Let me know your thoughts on it if you have this iron...

    Thanks in advance

I got mine new about 8 years ago at an ACE hardware store and I love it. I love that it doesn't turn off automatically, gets nice and hot and weighs enough to really 'press' those seams flat. If I ever replace it, I hope to replace it with the same kind.

Funny you should ask. I had a Black and Decker iron for ages. Don't know the model, but it died last Friday! I cleaned it and when I tried to turn it on, it was dead. Had to go buy a new one.

Too funny. Mine just died yesterday after I cleaned it
    It was a B & D Home though.

My MIL has one - she doesn't really like it, says it doesn't get very hot. But it works well enough, she hasn't gone and bought another one.

    I have a B & D that I like. Don't know which one, though.

I love mine, got it when MIL passed. It's very old and still works like new.
