i'm getting ready to start a DJ, and during my readings here on the board, i saw where someone had visited the museum that houses the orginal DJ. she posted a couple pictures and they were soooooo clear, and sharp. i forgot to postmark it. and for the life of me, i can't find it. does someone know the link, or if she posted any more pictures? they were soooooo sharp, you could see the blue binding on the scalloped edges. she said she had bribed her daughter with andries mints, to go to the museum with her. i would luv to see these pictures again.

These are the only close up pictures I could find that show the binding. From the Bennington Museum site.

thx ladies, i have search and searced for it. no, 'one of us' went on vacation, and on one of the weeks, or posts of the dear jane thread, she had taken a picture of her daughter standing beside the dj. and it was soooooo clear... and bright, you could actually see the individ blocks and the colors. and the blue of the binding was soooooo blue. i hope we get a connecting thread here, and you all can see what i mean.

celeste, yes, there are some awsome pictures on this blog of DJ's that the BOM ladies are finishing. lots and lots of discusssion. this lady on like the 3rd 4th, or 5th page of someone else's thread, said, oh, by the way, 'i want to share this with everyone." the pictures were of THE jane stickle quilt in the museum. her family was on vacation and no one would go with her to see it. but she bribed her gorgoues little daughter who looks to be about 8 or 9 to go with her. and the colors just popped on the orginal DJ. the color on the binding looked like it was done yesterday. a very vivid blue.
