The quilt she made was neither a Stack and Whack nor a OBW; it would really NOT be good for the former as the print is not that large and the repeat is quite frequent. I'll leave it to her or someone she designates to post the thread with the quilt in case she prefers to remain anonymous.

It will be a while before I get to work on this as I'm in a bit of a holding pattern right now, emotionally, as I wait for the thyroid surgery upcoming June 22. I promise to share it when I've got something!

Jan, I'll keep you in my prayers. I am so curious. I wish you had shared the quilt that was made with it. Can you at least tell us if it was a Stack and whack or OBW?

    Okay, okay, it was me.

The original quilt was a challenge quilt; the rules were we had to use this fabric in the quilt and it had to be recognizable, meaning we couldn't cut it up into itty bitty pieces.

Once I was done making it, I didn't want to have anything to do with that fabric again.

Andi Perejda wrote a pattern that she sells in conjunction with a helpful DVD. It's the most comprehensive and best illustrated I've seen, so that's the one I recommend. You can find it here: http://www.andiperejda.com/dvd.htm

Nothing like a lovely surprise, especially one that is so bright and colorful! Most of my quilts are wild and crazy colors. Love bold fabrics. Enjoy it, create something gorgeous just for you.
