Someday I am going to find the "safe place" where I have stashed too many things to even remember and never could find again!

I hate it when that happens! I usually find stuff after having replaced it. I like the idea of getting a tool box like the guys use

I love that saying! My grandpa used to always say it when we lost something. Of course we'd always roll our eyes, "Grandpa!....." Thanks for the happy memory.

The only thing I've "lost" is an etu that my husband made for me out of an exotic wood. I have searched for over a year and have not found it. It is so beautiful that I think someone might have thought they needed it worse than I did. However, I WILL NOT GIVE UP!!!! It has to be here somewhere in a box or tote that I forgot I had. I hope.

When my boys were little we had a someone called "I don't know" that was always coming & taking things. You know like, homework, clothes, shoes, jackets, toys, etc. You get the idea. Well now that my boys are all grown, maybe He moved to your house. Just an thought!!! HEE HEE!

I end up using more time to look for "lost" items than quilting so I feel your pain.

That's the reason I wear my scissor snips on a necklace over my shoulders. I made the necklace myself out of bright white and bright green glass beads with a group of faceted beads on one end for balance. Otherwise every time I got up from the sewing machine I would leave my scissors somewhere. And now when I look for them to start sewing that pile of shiny beads is easy to find.

I am so glad someone else loses there sewing things to. I blamed it on my age. Then sometimes I just think I must be losing my mind. But what ever it is it must be catching because there is a lot of people out there just like me.
