I used Bali Pop Jelly Roll to make my Half-Hexi quilt.

I love charm packs and jelly rolls. I have purchased a few layer cakes too because they were on sale, and I purchased a few honey buns too. They're so much fun to make into a quick baby gift (or a super fast Christmas gift.. not like I'm doing that this year ;), and you don't have to worry about the fabrics not looking right.

I love them, I am addicted to them. You can do so much.
Look at the book Jelly Roll, and you can see so many
quick and easy quilts that look like a million when your done.
The Charm packs are great too - I have used them for the
disappearing nine patch, and coasters, and totes, table runners,
and placemats, its so great because it all coordinates,
    Buy lots, and have fun.

I did have a few 5inch charm sets I bought from a friend and used them in an 30's style quilt. I wastes a lot of fabric trying the squaring the quilt. I will try and find it and post a pic for you to see.

I do not use them but have bought charm packs on sale as a small gift in a larger package to give to my quilting buddies.

They tend to be too small for me and pricey.

I found the quilt I told you about so will try to post it, Sorry the pictures are on the wrong way so either turn your head or the screen.

I was doing embroidery at my Quilt meetings and decided to put them together using the 5inch square charms.

I bought the bird fabric when it was on special and thought the this was a good way to do two things. Use the fabric and try out a new tecnique of doing circles I saw from simply Quilts.

Charm packs and Layer Cakes make up so quick. I always keep some in inventory.
Some quilts I made from charm pack & lc's:

    Comfort & Joy - 52x60 (2 charm pks)

Comforts of Home - 63x63 (2 charm pks)

for me I need to know what i'm going to make and then go buy the precut for that project. This works better than buying the packs and then having it sit around waiting for me to decide what to do with it. I have too many of these already. Having said that: I had a mixed jelly roll and decided to use it in a tube type quilt. It made a great looking scrappy quilt. I would not have deliberately made a scrap tube type quilt.
