Thanks for all your replies. I went to Joann's today and got the 12" one for 50% off - $11-something. But I really wanted the 18" one so came home and went to Joann.com. The 18" one is not included in the 50% off quilting notions that expires tomorrow.

Oh well...I'll use the 12" one happily.

However...I think I will put some markers on the edges where I need to cut just in case my brain fries adding 3 1/2" together as I move down the fabric. :)

Thanks again - I'm looking forward to using it.

It is awesome, I don't know how I ever got along without it!

Doesn't shift like the other rulers. Just a wonderful tool.

I purchased mine on line with a 50% coupon. The really big one over 23 inches long arrived in a huge box and was protected in a flat cardboard folder that I keep my new cutting mat and other larger type June Taylor rulers stored in. I was impress with JoAnn's shipping method, it provided a storage container I would not have gotten if I had purchased them in a store. With gas so high and the nearest JoAnns 80 miles away, shipping is much cheaper.

I've had the 2 smaller ones, which are great, but just received the biggest one in the mail today! So excited, can't wait to use it tomorrow!

Love them. I have the one slotted every 1/2 inch and another one that is slotted every 1/4 inch.

I can't imagine squaring up blocks without it.

I have one with 1/2 inch slits. Love it for cutting strips. I'd recommend getting one.

I have the 12" one and love it so much that I decided to buy the large one. Neither of the two Joann's I tried carries them. Nobody knew why. So I went on line and checked both Amazon and Joann's, but boy they're pricey! I'm going to wait until I get a 50% coupon that can be used online at Joann's. Amazon's regular price is lower, but not if you've got a half off coupon for Joann's. I'm dying to get one. I figure if the smaller one is so good, the large one must be even better. 8-)

I have had mine for several years and I love it. I want to get the bigger one. Mine is a 12 inch.
