Wow! so many....but truly I love to mix up what I have seen and try to design my own...course I often find my "best" ones are collaborations with great friends. Have to admit though.....Patrice has me beat by a mile.

Today is the first time I've seen this post....guess its not too late to answer! :)

I would have to say Pam Bono, only because I have one of her books and have made one quilt out of it and there are so many others in the book that are on my "want to make someday" list!

I do alot of designing on my own as well, something pops into my head and I scratch it down on paper...have alot of those pieces of paper laying around too! LOL

I like an author by the name of Georgia Bonesteel;
mainly because of the high quality of her how-to books
(which have patterns of her own design included)...
Not sure if she is still around or not.
