Thanks. It was a kit so they would not consider it for a ribbon. I didn't know that when I entered or I would not have entered it at all. I got an Honorable Mention. I was pretty upset about it. I haven't entered anything since.

I have done a small wall hanging that I marked from a stencil that I bought years ago. It is white on white. I am thinking about doing a larger one. It does look nice. Will try to find it to take a photo.

Please don't get discouraged. It happens from time to time if it goes into the wrong class, wrong size and so on. Make sure you know what the rules are. Quilting is always a learning experience and although I am 76 I learn something new all the time or am forced to remember something that I forgot long ago. Now you have to make sure if it goes into a machine quilted or hand quilted class also.

This company has lots of smaller projects you can work on, too.

I think they're really good practice for hand quilting because you don't have to deal with seams!

Here's the very first one I did, and I was thrilled with how will it came out!

Your whole cloths are just amazing!!! I love them, and I think you should have been given a blue ribbon. What beautiful work, and this is onmy long list of quilts to do.
