Living in rural Iowa, I would love to have this one!! Would you post the link for me? Thanks!!

I'm addicted to paper piecing. It's almost the only thing I do now. It allows you to have perfect points, that I can rarely get with regular piecing.

I do paper piecing because I can make my blocks very small, with many pieces!

It's definitely addicting, so many fun patterns, I have done so many quilts with paper piecing, sometimes just a border for a quilt is paper pieced and it adds that little touch to simple blocks that really make the quilt. I really love it.

Everyone is right about why paper piecing is fun. The big deal for me is I real don't like regular piecing. I did several kids quilt using 4-patch and thought I'd go crazy trying to match block corners etc. Paper piecing makes it automatic.

Here is the best tutorial that I have seen for paper piecing (instructions, not video-with diagrams). It is a simple block, but you get the idea. I use it for very sharp triangles, like on a Mariner's Compass that you would never want to cut. If you can draw it, you can sew it. They make great paper that vanishes when wet. You can draw on it, copy on it, or run through printer using EQ to print your block as paper pieced. I try to paper piece everything except the most basic block. Hope this is useful.

I'm working on a Judy Niemeyer quilt right now. Hopefully the picture below will show you why I use paper piecing for sharp points. I'm loving this quilt!!

I am not a very good quilter, however, I find I can do some really intricate blocks that look really good with paper piecing.

It makes difficult, easy. I love paper piecing. There is a slight learning curve and worth it.

I do have problems with renglish paper piecing, but when I have time I will try again.

I guess I'm addicted to too many other things that the paper piecing addiction never hit. lol.
