WHY???

I don't think I have ever changed a blade ------ the rotery cutter I use thinks it's the Energizer Bunny and just keeps going and going and going! I kid you not ....... occasionally a stray thread remains but only occasionally. It's a case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" so I'll continue to use this one for awhile longer.

that's funny you said that. I was dealing with that just yesterday. So, instead of "changing" it, I tried sharpening it with that little blue gadget that helps a little. Well, I went back to cut again....NOT!! So, again, instead of actually changing the blade, I went and got my other cutter. But, I have new blades sitting by my sewing table and the cutter that needs changing. I'll do that today.
I guess I didn't want to take the time to do it right and tried to get every last bit of cutting ability out of that blade. Shame on me. LOL

I know why I don't change the blade as often as I should.
The blade will skip, and I think Oh, just a few more cuts, and I'll get a new blade. LOL I'm finished with the cuts, and I forget that I should change the blade.
