    You are right, your log cabin quilt is wonderful.

    I think it is because of the good balance of yellow with the red and other fabrics and the yellow is not a jarringly bright or harsh yellow

    This would look great in yellow /blue combo or yellow/ purple combo too.

    I think because it is so hard to fingd a good yellow. Most are either super bright or just plain washed out. When I find a good one I buy at least 3 yards

    I made a friendship quilt and did sashing in yellow you need sunglasses to look at it but is very cheerful

    Guess I never thought about it. I use yellow but I think I use orange more lately. Don't know why but I like to use anything that makes me happy.

    I too love yellow, just made a daffodil quilt with lots of bright yellow. I put yellow in just about anything I can figure out how to use it.

    I love yellow and blue, but I have noticed that when family members request a quilt they never pick yellow.
