It took so long to find your "boo boo", it's not obvious at all. It's a very pretty quilt by the way!

I did the same ting until I started putting my pieces together as I made them on my wall (I have a plastic table cloth with the felt backing hanging on my wall) and now I take them off one at a time and sew them together. I double check before I sew them together.

Thank you, it was only the 6th quilt I made. I just got into quilting a year ago and just love it.

I couldn't find the 'mistake' had no clue what you were talking about till I finished reading...obviously the eye gravitates to the photo first.

Hey if you can spot a mistake from a train racing 100 miles an hr at 50 feet away, THEN there is a mistake. No one is going to see what you think is a mistake, so don't point it out to them.

The 'heart' quilt is lovely. really.

warm quilt hugs, sue in CA

The law of averages suggests that even in a random design, some like squares will be aligned. It is beautiful. Don't stress.

I have made 2 quilt tops lately and never noticed my boo-boo until I looked at the picture on the computer. UGH!!!

I did the same thing twice on both tops. I sewed two matching pieces right next to each other. I tried so hard not to do it again but oh, well. LOL!!!

Here is a picture of one of them. It is for my DD and my first try a Disappearing Nine patch. Ignore the date, I still haven't changed the camera yet. LOL!
You're okay if it takes everyone as long to find it as it did me.

I've made a lot of mistakes in my quilts and felt bad until one of the members on this forum told me that no one is perfect in his creations except God. I have since learned to live with my imperfections and those I create. This is a lovely quilt and you should be proud of it!

It took me a minute to find the two next to each other and who says it can't be that way? It looks great.

Next time take a picture of the top before quilting it or even take a picture when you do a section or row, however it's put together. I also don't see mistakes sometimes until I see it on my screen.

There are no mistakes to see in a quilt as pretty as this one.
