I really like the look as it is........and maybe a small inner border and a wider outer one......that would help to get the right width for you......

it's your quilt, so it your choice.......but as it is, it looks great....

you can just put some sashing strips between them and see how you like it. If I were doing it I would just butt them together it looks neat that way.

I would probably not sash it, but add borders instead or if you do sash it, maybe sash not each block but every 4 (4 block square) so you keep the diamond pattern of 4 blocks together
    Heres my string quilt..
I used a foundation muslin leaving the center diagonals blank to get the lattice effect.I'm very happy with how it turned out. Yours will be gorgeous no matter what you do ;-)

I wouldn't put sashing on it either, pops out without it.

    Very pretty.

I'd use on of the greens for the sashing and frame and then bind it in black.

I am just finishing a red, white & blue quilt. I am doing a 2 inch white sashing. I put 4 blocks togather & framed the blocks. I will also put a border on, have not decided on color yet. I think sashing does wounders.

I think any deep color, or light color, print (curved lines?) or solid might work

I want it to be a reasonable amount but don't want to go overboard. Also, should sashing be dark if most of the strips are dark or of your choosing or what? Print, solid? Ideas needed. The blocks are just pinned to my flannel wall; I have yet to sort them on where they should go.

I think I'd join the blocks so the diamonds are one and make up the difference with borders.

I agree. Love the patterns when blocks are butted together.
