    I wouldn't chance it. Find a source for Pigma Micron Pens.

    I've tried with Walmart to no avail finding permanent fabric markers. They're always out. Guess it looks like a trip to JAF.

    It's interesting to read all the different responses regarding Sharpies. I've used Micron pens and Sharpies without a problem, enduring many washings. I do heat set my labels with a dry iron.

    I always use Pigma pens....they come in various widths...I usually use a .05mm.....I bought a set of many colors and use them all. I have found that Sharpies bleed.....always. Whatever you do get, be sure to heat set the signature before washing.....otherwise it will fade badly.......

    I use the fabric sheets you run through a printer and then heat set with an iron. I am not sure which markers are best for labels, but have seen some very nice labels where people did that.

    sharpies have a fabric pen that I use. I buy them at Hobby Lobby.
