I won't be sewing or quilting on News Years day. However, I will be sewing/quilting on News Years Eve. I will be off work that day and will have time to sandwich my throw together that I am making for my couch.

I'm going to be working on my butterfly quilt that I am hand embroidering. I also may work on my star chicken scratch quilt that I have started. I have a lot of projects in mind for the new year, but I need to finish the one's I've started first.

I plan to work on a mystery quilt Saturday. Was going to start on Friday, but looks like I have to work now. QTMysteryQuilts group on Yahoo is having their 2011 mystery quilt starting on Friday. Check it out and see what you think. I think it will be fun.

Yes, I plan on getting some sewing/quilting done. I have a lap quilt done (top and back) for a friend that I need to sandwich together and get ready for quilting.

If I decide I want to tackle the un-sewing of my King size quilt that I have to fix... I could be doing that too.

I have another top done that I have to get the backing ready for...

And another to find boarder fabric for from my stash

Plus I have had fabric for 4 months here for the bargello I want to start.

OH Dear.... I think I've just listed everything that needs to get done in 2011. Too many UFO's around here.

Time to get off this forum and get busy... LOL

I have to clean my sewing room first. Making Christmas gifts completely turned my room upside down!

I received some fabric from Hawaii from a friend. I have bought fabric to go with it. I am anxious to make it into a quilt. It's been around since before Thanksgiving, but I had to finish my Christmas gifts, so it's still waiting. I'll have the grandkids here until the day after New Year's Day, and then I think I get started on my Hawaiian fabric.
    Yeah!

My sewing room is upside down also. I am still trying to figure out why I do that to myself. My DH is off work for the rest of the week and he said that he will help me get it straightened out. I am going to let him.
