I'm going shopping to my favorite LQS and buy a pass for free retreats for the entire year of 2011. It will also entitle me to double reward points on every purchase throughout the year. Then I'll be taking the kids that have stayed over the night before home, then maybe some sewing.

I'll be out of town so no. this would be a good time to be a hand-quilter, as I will be spending many hours in the car.

I am, I have been working on getting all my house duties done since Sunday, getting alot of extra done so that I can sew all weekend guilt free.
I have a quilt that I started at a class before Thanksgiving that I need to get finished before the Bow Tucks class I am going too mid January.

I hope I will be sewing. I spent the morning cleaning out my scrap drawer and cutting into little squares. Want to start the new year with a clean scrap drawer!

Yes, yes, yes...I sew on all my days off work. I have several UFOs I am working on....and I have ventured out into my first FMQ on a lap quilt for me. It is half done. I hope to finish it. Hopefully then I will have the courage to do an "important" quilt. I have one I want to get done for a very special friend that I didn't get done in time for Christmas. I hate having to work, it limits my play time. By the time I get home from work in the evening, there is no time after supper...and I am usually to tired. So I really look forward to the weekends, and even better when there is a long weekend! Yeah! :D

My DH has New Year's Day off, so I'll definitely be sewing while he watches the kids for a while. I'm not sure which project I'll choose, but I do plan on getting something accomplished.
