I surely hope so! I've got a grandbaby making an entrance on Jan. 12 and haven't finished the top yet. Plus a few other projects that never got done as soon as I'd hoped.

Now that Christmas is done I need to get busy sewing for the two new grandbabys that are due in January, one by Csection on the 7th and the other on the 20th!

I will be cleaning up the mess I have made in my sewing area in the last month. I have already taken in 3 machines for a tune up
and now I can reorganize my fabric. This will alow me to buy more fabric to make another mess. We will also be watching our
favorite team in the Rose Bowl. GO BADGERS!

Don't you all know that whatever you do on New Years Day, you'll be doing all year? My granny used to say, "Just be sure you don't do no worshin' (washing clothes) on new years day or you won't get any rest all year". She also instilled in me the need to have black eyed peas!

Absolutely! Just hanging out at home with an easy dinner in the oven, pork and sauerkraut. I like New Year's Day.

    What are pu pu's?
Pupu are appetizers (usually chicken, fish, sushi, veggies, etc. In Hawai'i you could order light pupu's or heavy pupu's depending on whether you wanted an entree or not :) I so miss Kailua, Hawai'i!
