I have purchased some wonder "old-fashion" winter scene fat quarter (all done in shades of turkey reds and creams) and want to start cutting. Can anyone give me some directions on how to start?

    Thank you,
    Maureen

Need to pick a pattern before you cut. If you don't have one in mind, look for free patterns on google, or go to the library and look at quilt books and magazines. You need at least two colors before you start. What do you want to make? Quilt, pot holder, place mats. table runner, vest???? Lots of things are possible.

What are your plans for it? A block or table runner?
