Yesterday I received my Dear Jane pattern book, signed by the author, and the accompanying templates. All I can say is, oh, my! That is going to be a LOT of work. Most likely it will be quite scrappy, although the background will be all one fabric. I've seen some beautiful ones here, and the "Chocolate Jane" I saw on this board is the one that made me want to make one myself. I hope nobody minds a copycat! :D

Lots of luck. I hope you enjoy doing it. You'll have to post your progress with pictures.

If one is using one's own fabric selections, I think it's almost impossible to copy exactly someone else's quilt.

Good luck with the DJ blocks. I got about 3/4 of the blocks done and quit. Now I have to figure out what to do with them. LOL

Well...they say that imitation is the best form of flattery...so Jane Stickle should be thrilled and as the "Mama of Chocolate Jane"....I'm flattered!

Good luck! If you want some great support and to join others in the same stage as you...go to the Topic Lists and click on the Jane Stickle Cyber Block Party thread. You'll find lots of help, support, laughs and fun there!
