I always ask for gift certificates to my LQS. Mid January they have their one and only sale of the year. So the certificates give me something to look forward to

hope you all get at least a few of the things you're wishing for!
I didn't mean for this to get into an ethical discussion of gift giving… Was just looking for some good ideas on sewing gadgets. Thanks everyone!!!

I'm having major dental surgery in Jan and cannot chew for 4 months! I told the family all I want for Christmas are cases of Ensure. LOL

I would like jelly rolls, charm packs, etc. I would be happy for each of my kids to choose a set they really like, so I could make a surprise quilt from it for their birthday.

I'd also like an extended sewing desk/table for my machine :-)

YES to both - have them and love them.

Oh how fun for you! Stuffing my mothers (God rest her soul) stocking was a blast, I got so much pleasure finding fun quilting items for her. Here's what my list would include: wing clipper ruler, sewline marking pencil with all the colors, blades, needles, 1/2 yard cuts of anything, newest ihome to play Michael Buble, a maid, chef and gardener so I could quilt all the time. Guess that would be a good start ha ha ha. Enjoy Christmas with your family.

I'd like some more rulers, and a new cutting mat because mine is warped, and a book about old quilts, with lots of photos in it!

I hope you all get what you want. As for me, after reading all 4 pages of replies, I'd like to join ube quilting on that quilting cruise.

I have the Accquilt Go as well and love it. I am making a queen size Bargello that requires 240 2 1/2 inch strips and I was able to cut them all in about two hours. Saves so much time and the accuracy beets anything I can do by hand.
