I sent for a BOM entitled Women of The Bible. I thought it was a beautiful quilt and something I could gift to my Mom when I had it done. Has anyone done this quilt? I received the first month yesterday, and I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew. There are no rotary cutting instructions-actually there are few instructions at all. It seems one needs to join a Bible study group in order to get some instructions-re: layout and cutting-I have joined the study group ,that in itself is perplexing-I'll let everyone know in a month or two how things go--

Saw the ad for that but passed on it & bought the Herbs & Spices From the Bible. These are applique blocks with a ideas for embellishing with embroidery or beading, etc. if you'd like. Bought it from Clotilde catalog. They've come out with Flowers from the Bible since then. Maybe you'd like that better? Just a thought ;-)

I would love to see a picture or a link to the quilt.
I have never heard of it before.

I saw that as well but since I am so far behind on WIP's and can't even talk about the BOMs I've got stacked. It will be a beautiful quilt. Thanks for the heads up.

I also ordered this BOM... and recieved it yesterday. After two hours I did get one square of the block sewn together. :) It is VERY daunting and I am not sure what I will do about the second block that came in the kit this month. It looks very difficult.... maybe we can give each other tips? :)

If it's the same "women of the bible" quilt blocks as my Quilt Ministry group got....they have had to re-write and figure out measurements and make templates for each and every block...so I'd say make sure that all templates and instructions are included.

There is also a book for sale through Amazon (used $18.00) for Women of the Bible quilt pattern. Not sure if it's the same thing.
