I had the same problem. Squeezing the box helped me to open it. However, I will be replacing it with a container that is easier to open - and one where it is easier to tell top from bottom.

I thought I was the only one--love the clips and hate the box!

I want to send some to a friend in England but with a storage container too. hate what they come in.

I've had the same trouble and took a permanent marker to draw arrows to remind myself to slide the right part of the box up. I'll try to post a picture if you'd like.

I like the clips both sizes. The first time I tried to put a binding on without a walking foot, I got so upset. Then I thought about the washable glue. So I took my quilt to the ironing board and started gluing it in place but I ironed it as I put it on. So it dries fast. I put it on the entire quilt and it took about 8 mins to sew the entire binding on and it looked good. I also round all my corners, I like it so much better. the less stress the better.I like the clips both sizes.

I use the red clips to hold my pieces together when I'm sewing sweaters together as well. Love them for that, too!
