I bought a small package and decided the pins could go by the way side. I then purchased 50 and keep them in a jar by my machine so when I do binding they are handy. I love them.

I'm no help because I still use the dollar store hair clips. I quit using pins years ago.

I too use the Dollar Store hair clips and used to clip down one whole size of my quilt but found it really isn't necessary so I just clip 2 or 3 before where I'm stitching. BTW I use this when hand stitching the binding to the back. I don't even pin/clip when I'm sewing binding to the front of my quilts any more.

I was part of the Reddit Secret Santa Gift exchange and I was sent a box of 50. I haven't tried them yet but I'm excited now after reading some of the comments to see what I can use them for. My Secret Santa was pretty awesome! I recieved the box of wonder clips, a box of applique pins, a block book, a rotating cutting mat, and 4 Disney Dvd's! I really lucked out this year!

I use them all the time, they are wonderful. I rarely use pins anymore between these clips and elmers glue. You can get them on Amazon fairly inexpensively. You will use them all the time.

Like all things that are 'new' they seem an expensive remake of old ideas.cheap hair clips are just as good.I have seen these re-marketed as 'quilt clips' as twice or more the price.Save money-- buy fabric! Love Letty.
