    Question Wool Appliqueing

I would like to try wool appliqueing on wool by hand. Any information would be helpful. Thanks, Jackie

I have done several wool applique projects. What type of information are you looking for - where to get the wool, patterns, thread to use? I can't help you a whole lot but I do shop the thrift stores and garage sales for 100% wool garments and then wash in hot water and dry in hot dryer to make the felt. I use regular embroidery thread and use either a long running stitch or blanket or buttonhole stitch. I have also used the blanket stitch on my sewing machine. I have adapted several applique patterns to use.
