Love the batiks. Talk about determination. Don't think I would have gone the extra distance. Congrats on your persistence.

Love the quilt, but have no idea how I'd quilt it. Post when you finish it.

What was wrong with it? I don't know that I would have had the patience to change it.

Kind of like you didn't go through all this for nothing. It will get done. Will not be defeated by material. You came out the winner and It's beautiful!!

You are much more patient than I am, I probably could only have un-sewn an hour a day. However, you did work your way out of a potential disaster. It's a very pretty quilt.

There was no continuity or flow and the motifs were too big and the wrong colour.
I just wasn't thinking that day.

I do not usually care for batiks, but your quilt is beautiful.

VERY pretty! Iknow about the un-quilting a project. Just finishing a project I had completed and used for several years. The quilt shop had sold me "Smoky" instead of Black, and I didn't know the difference.
something had to be wrong with the 'smoky' fabric, as it faded very fast. So, I totally re-made it. So, am feeling your frustration.
