    Default It Works! It Works!

When I write down that I promise to do some hand quilting the next day, I actually do it. After not taking a stitch for many weeks, I've worked on one of my UFO's for three days in a row.

That is a great idea. After having a quilt on the frame for far too long, I promised myself that I would take at least one stitch every day. Of course I never stop with one stitch even when I am very busy. There are very few days in the last six months I have not kept this promise. Have finished that quilt and am well on my way with another one. A little bit every day adds up. I should write that promise down.

it's like a "honey-do" list.... I have to make lists quite often for myself of things that need to be done at work and it keeps me on task and I accomplish so much more. I will sometimes do that for home projects and prioritize by want which has more importance...

I will definitely have to try it for sewing.
