I've just ordered the booklet and have been checking out all the online posts and blogs - bookmarking and saving. Got my plastic tote and binder ready!!
I'm going to do the more "neutrals" looking one I saw when googling images! Borders will help you resize it to larger.
When anxious about a new project, I start with just one or two blocks to see if I can handle it and if I like it!
Mostly I will be paper piecing as there seems to be an emphasis on accuracy and seam allowance.
Yes, QAYG will not be easy on this one, let us know when you've established your method! Good luck and enjoy!

That looks like it would be fun to make. I have a lot of orphan blocks that need a project. Those and some jelly rolls would have fun playing together, I think. Thanks for sharing the link. It's now on my soon to do list (0: I'd love to see yours when you get it going!

There is one thing I learned from doing scrappy quilts.......in the end, no matter what fabric you choose, they all work well together! Have fun!

And besides that, it looks like it's gonna take long enough for you to actually add to your stash as you go along. You have a worthwhile challenge ahead of you, take your time.
