:lol: This one just cracks me up. Been there, done that...but it was when crosshatching a quilt. I was in la-la land just stitching along, so proud of myself to be doing so well. hahahahaahahaha

Putting the entire nearly-queen-size quilt top together, standing back to look at it as it's hanging on the wall, and then realizing that the background fabric is clearly from two differnt dye lots!!!!! It was for an upcoming auction, and I decided that I couldn't leave it the way it was. It was as if the quilt was nearly cut in half!! I searched and searched at every JoAnn Fabrics for the dye lot that matched the smaller of the two halves. Couldn't find it ANYWHERE!!!! I ended up buying more fabric that matched the larger half, ripping the entire bottom half apart and stitched it all back together again!!! WHAT A PAIN IN THE BEHIND!!!!! :thumbdown: :thumbdown:
