I have put the book on my wish list for Christmas. I think I will try to join you and improve/learn some new skills.

I have the book too, and would like to tag along with the group.

Okay everyone, stay tuned! I have contacted our admin and they are receptive. I need to draft a proposal post for the SAL to get final approval and I'll try to get it up and running by early December!

Looking forward to it...plan on keeping this one for myself as I would like a lap quilt to keep over the couch for those colder months

I checked out the link and WOW that is a really beautiful quilt. I don't have the book, but I think I just might have to put it on my wish list. I probably won't join the QAL either but will definitely keep tabs on the thread and check out everyone elses.

Count me in. I've had the book for a couple of years now and just haven't had the courage to start it. This will give me the push that I need. Keep us posted.

I've ordered the book too. I don't know too much about this quilt other than there's thee blocks a month. For quite a while I've been wanting to do a red appliquéd quilt (don't ask me why - no idea) so this may be it!
